2010 Exhibition photos: Media Launch and Public Opening

Many thanks to all who showed up for the 2010 Skins ‘n’ Sharps Exhibition.

The turn out was huge and overwhelming, it was fantastic to see everyone reconnect and be taken back to a time that was truly theirs. And I realize now it wasn’t just about being Sharp it was about being free.

  3. It was great to go to an exhibition that I felt connected to. While I was not apart of the Sharpie culture (gang) I saw it all around me in the 70′s and yes had the platforms and the treads and an imitation connie. THe artefacts, paintings, books and posters at the exhibitio were all terrific to see (quick, hurry if you haven’t already). Oh, yeah City Sharps played a great set appreciated by all there. (Yeah, Chane you still got it). As Molly would say “Do yourself a favour” and buy the CD. Rock on.
